One Good Deed is a non-profit organization that connects volunteers to events across the metro area. We work with our partners to find solutions that improve lives and strengthen relationships. But we don't do it alone, many volunteers and donors are engaged with us to advance community-based and community-led solutions. We bring people and organizations together to do more collectively than any of us can do on our own. Other nonprofits, employers, educators, community leaders, youth and many others partner with us; together, we create ripples of kindness with far-reaching effects. We offer assistance that creates real change. It's not always simple, or easy but collectively we make a difference and can see the results.

When you find a volunteer opportunity you are interested in, you will need to submit a Volunteer Application. Use either the specific event sign-up link or access the “How To Help” link to fill out your application. Thank you! We truly appreciate your helping hands and hearts.

Please reach out to michelle@one-good-deed.org with any question(s). You will receive an email when your Volunteer Application is accepted, so it’s not necessary to email just to check the status of an application.

We offer a wide range of events, averaging 2-3 hours, trying to capture many interests. Whether you have a couple of hours to help with a one-time event, or an open calendar to join us on multiple events, we hope you find something that interests you and your passion in helping others.

Absolutely, all of our events are family friendly! Please feel free to invite others that may be interested as well*. The more, the merrier!

(*Each volunteer 13 years and older needs to fill out an application).

We love our 4-legged family members too, but ask that you please leave your pets at home. Although we love ALL of our volunteers, even the furry ones, not all people do. So for the consideration of everyone, we ask that pets not be brought to events.
