Join us in placing American flags at every graveside at Fort Snelling!  Flags for Fort Snelling has an annual tradition of remembrance in honor of our Fallen. Volunteers locate the site from each online request, place a flag, take a photo and share the image on the FFFS's website feed so it can be seen and shared with distant loved ones.

JUNE 06-08, 2024

7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Beginning in April annually, donations in good condition are accepted at our base camp. These items are sold at the Charity Garage Sale with free will pricing. All proceeds are then donated to Prism and YouthLink – both non-profits benefiting youth.

JULY 20, 2024

Helping kids and adults both to have access to the joy of reading! The library materials are all donated and assembled by volunteers. Come and paint one and/or adopt one for yourself! You can set it up, stock it and watch the joy of books come to life!

AUGUST 01-17, 2024

In August, donations are accepted for back to school! Items accepted are backpacks, school supplies, personal supplies (i.e. socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Kleenex, etc.), non-perishable snacks and whatever else you can imagine students needing.

November 23, 2024

Volunteers gather to create holiday greeting cards for Seniors. Supplies are donated or purchased by One Good Deed and resulting cards are distributed through our partners at senior living homes and Meals on Wheels.

Collecting, tagging, sorting and bagging the donations – gathering to organize volunteers, drop off/pick up of items and creating Blessing Bags. There will be several dates for this event throughout October–December.

Volunteers place donations in Twin City parks for the homeless population all focused on one very important mission: creating a ripple of kindness for those in need; often seen, but rarely cared for. Now seen, and cared for.
